PATAGONIA BRISTOLLovely evening in Bristol. I was asked to come down and photograph the speakers at the evening before showing the Gerry Lopez film, The Yin & Yang of Gerry Lopez. They wanted the portraits to be shot on film to follow the style of the surfing mostly shot in the 70’s. 
23rd June - Stan and Bonnie, from a shoot last week for Only Fair, new Bristol based sustainable clothing brand. Their website has just launched with these photographs, go check em’ out. I’m now taking bookings for July and beyond, do get in touch if you’re interested in shooting together…Jack x
April assignment - A road trip up to Scotland for 10 days, photographing some outrageous places to stay. Looking forward to packing the van and going North sometime. Driving through the hills was amazing, didn't feel far away enough from home for it to look so dramatic. 
9th Feb 2021 (This isn't recent swell) Still deep in lockdown 3.0 - this was back in Dec 2018. Vaughany called me saying this spot could be on and the tide was in our favour after checking in at a meeting on the way. Swapped suit for suit and was in there. Disclaimer - this wave looks v hard to surf, especially on your backhand. Hats off to the locals who had it dialled. Bumpy, shallow, deep, wobbly, barrels, horrid paddle out keyhole etc. 
Jan 4th - December bubble dip. (more of a dunk on my part) First outing in little blue - my new van I’ve been pottering away on at home. Looks like she’ll be parked up for a while. 
That brief time when we could see people and go out for a beer (ish) Few shots of the bois hanging out in Bristol and going for a skate. 
Traded in some old bits and picked up a 28mm lens for the Nikon Fm2 - here’s some of the frames from the test roll. Thanks to these heatwave cricket pro’s. Loving the combo and looking forward to having it out on shoots (along with digital). I’m now back up and available for distanced shoots, give us a call or email for a chat on any ideas or your project x
Just pre lockdown. #35mm Definitely going to print 'raining pink', the first one. Winter trip back West for a shoot in Pembrokeshire / had a streak of lucky timing with nice waves/weather.
Press day at The Wave 2019. (even us camera butty's had a slot - amazing - thanks all x)
Another shoot back West that coincided with a few lumpy classic Manobier days. A shot of Sam Rat from this session went to print double page in Carve magazine. Must dig it out and share x
